A couple of possible red flags for me on Aiyuk. Any chance he gets paid and then pulls a DaRon Payne?

Why is Aiyuk willing to walk away from contending for a Superbowl over four or five million dollars?

Entire state of California is a shit hole
C'mon man, you live in West Virginia, which is among the top five in shittyness and top three in useless holes! You have to stop using this pretentious superiority complex to make yourself feel better. It's West Virginia, we all understand.

West Virginia had more deaths than births. Between 2020 and 2023, the state recorded 89,419 deaths and 55,715 births. It's gotten so bad that the state is offering people $20,000 to move there.

California has tent cities lined up everywhere and people shitting on the streets and sidewalks
C'mon man, stop believing everything that you read or told by idiots with agendas. Large parts of California, just like West Virginia are beautiful and easy to live in.
In terms of growth and contributions to the country, California remains the 5th largest economy in the world. California is the 5th largest economy in the world for the seventh consecutive year, with a nominal GDP of nearly $3.9 trillion in 2023 and a growth rate of 6.1% since the year prior, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. California's per capita GDP ...Apr 19, 2024

West Virginia's real GDP in 2023 was $80.14 billion, an increase from the previous year's $76.53 billion. The state's top revenue industries in 2022 were hospitals, coal mining, and gas stations with convenience stores.
West Virginia ranks 42nd in economy size among states and Washington, DC. In the 3rd quarter of 2023, West Virginia accounted for 0.4% of the US economy.
In 2022, West Virginia's GDP per capita was $54,870, which was one of the lowest in the United States. GDP, or gross domestic product, is a measure of a county's economy that estimates the value of the goods and services produced in an area.
So, what are the things that West Virginia leads the nation in? (You're #1)...

West Virginia has the highest percentage of adults who smoke (21%), the highest percentage of adults who are obese (41%), and the second shortest life expectancy nationwide (73.9 years). Mississippi, deemed the second unhealthiest state, has the shortest life expectancy at 73.63 years, studies found.Jan 15, 2024

Avoid the big cities and California is one of the most desirable places to live in the world.

SF has become a shit hole.

WV is beautiful. It just doesn’t have the money of California…or the weather.

Ranking states to live in is probably the least objective thing a person can do. Life expectancy in he metric is a complete joke.

Hate to bust your bubbles.......................................49ers and Patriots are talking.

Don't be surprised if the 49ers pay Aiyuk and trade DeBoo to the Patriots for a 2025 2nd round pick.

This is not a bubble burster for me, my preference for Washington if they decide to trade for another WR has been Tee Higgins. Aiyuk is one year older, would cost more to acquire, more to sign a new contract with, and although very talented, his 6' 1" stature is in line with what Washington typically fields at the position. Higgins at 6' 4" represents a departure from that and gives Washington the bigger target that they haven't had in a long time.

Thanks for a post that is not biased one way or the other.

Just like the Patriots. I couldn't agree with you more. Problem is that Higgins signed his tender. Bengals will Franchise him again next year.

This is a very interesting post! As the league becomes far more of a pass-dominating entity, having at least two to three top-end WRs is a requirement. Being too slow to recognize this leads to these problematic rankings.
You know me Sty. I was all in on tanking for Harrison Jr. until Howell regressed. It's a need. Not out biggest but one none the less.

There's no doubt that upgrading our OL is fix #1, but a very close second is our WR room.
