Holy cow. someone has gone off the deep end. Nope, not butthurt at all. Just went to wikipedia to get the info on Texas Fight, and there was an...interesting... and curse word filled rant. I just reloaded and that edit is now gone, which makes me mad because I would love to post his un-butthurt comments here.


The truth of the matter is that the writer of Texas Fight admitted that he wrote Texas fight, the University of Texas official fight song, because he was upset over A&M's song and chants.


EDIT: Found the previous version that "someone wrote". Tell me if this isn't too funny. This was writting on wikipedia, in the Texas Fight definition:

The entirety of the preceding reference is bullshit because it was obviously written by an Aggie. The song is entirely based on "I've been working on the Railroad," but the jerkwads from A&M would like to think that because the Texas State constitution established some other school that was established in "some other place outside the capitol" that the state of Texas actually cared about them. The truth of the matter is A&M devised their entire fight song on a mascot unrelated to their own because they have had an inferiority complex for 150 years and no one cares which SEC mascot they will base their new fight song on now. The University of Texas at least re-wrote the lyrics to 'I've Been Working on the Railroad" to reflect their own school and state pride rather than writing an entire fight song about someone else's mascot.

Congrats on growing up in Austin, still not sure how that makes "your" school better than mine...the one I attended. I have no problem with who you cheer for, but if you don't have a dog in the fight...you can't talk trash about another school. Would you make fun of someone driving last years Porche 911 for not having this years model, then go get back in your Chevy? How about making fun of someone for having a PhD in something trivial like underwater basketweaving while you are sporting that high school sheepskin? I doubt it, but that is what you are doing here.

I totally understand what Star is talking about. So after A&M accepted their invite to be a high paid bitch in the SEC, I asked my Aggie alumni friends why the school is leaving the Big 12? The same 2 answers would always be said:

1. Get out of Texas's shadow - I have no problem with that. The only problem I have is that in order to do that, Aggy was willing to throw out over 100 + years of history and tradition, and that's just wrong. You people deserve the beatings that are forth coming from here on out.

2. The SEC is better competition - This answer displays why Aggies are always the butt of all jokes. Better competition? Aggie couldn't even compete in the Big 12, so I'm still trying to understand Aggie logic in this statement.

One thing you dumbasses need to do before you leave and that's change your song that revolves around Big Brother.

It's as if there are Aggie fans crawling all over this board talking about how great A&M is. Pretty sure I haven't seen anyone here saying A&M is the best in the big 12, any of the "getting out of the shadow", or that other BS that these two circlejerking TU fans like to throw out. Bone at least can be level headed. Star is a blowhard that everyone SportsHoopla laughs at. TexasFight98 could easily be his second screen name and only shows up sporadically (thank god) to continue to give TU an outstanding name.

Not sure what star's agenda is other than to prove he is:
A) an idiot with the brain of a child and is pissed at the world
B) butthurt that even though my school may not be much at football the one that he cheers for is the laughing stock due to their idiotic moves and their "our shit don't stink" attitude. How's the Lamehorn network doing? Glad your, sorry Texas', oncampus network was finally able to "hammer out" a deal the day after it premiered. Even your, sorry Texas', own school didn't want its network. Wonder if you have hit 25k subscriptions yet.
