I don't think Mr Brain Cracked should be talking about other people like that.

This is a guy who committed sexual assault against a trainer.

And farted in a PGH doctors face repeatedly.

It is well known AB likes to throw rocks in his glass house.

Well, sure...but I mean, the whole thing started with a dumpster fire of an organization accusing another organization of being a dumpster fire...so, honestly - this is kind of on brand with the whole situation...lol

Why would PIT even want him at this point? I would rather tank for a qb

Of course, but if he wants to force the Bengals to give him a new contract , trade him or release him this seems like the only option for him.
Who is trading for him with that occurring during season? He is 31, will be turning 32, is putting up shit numbers, and expects a big contract value per year. Whose taking?

He's put up monster season last two years, someone will be willing to offer a little something or wait for him to get released. It's not like folks don't understand contract disputes and hold in's (versus hold out).

Well, he's not getting released. He's under contract for this year and the Bengals will 100% hold onto that contract if they don't get some kind of compensation that they feel is of equal value. Could be that a trade, at this point, is off the table as the draft is now over with.

Trey has very little leverage here. He can threaten to hold out and not play, but the Bengals can threaten to simply tag him next year - even if it's with designs on a tag/trade. Trey will be 31 this year, and 32 next year. He doesn't have the time to play the long-game. His only chip, really, is to retire. Then the Bengals don't get him for this year, and get no future compensation. However, Trey has shown no inclination that he's willing to actually go this route.

The Bengals 100% should budge and meet Trey somewhere in the middle. I'd bump his salary up this year to top 3-4 range, and give him *some* guarantees for next year, while making the overall offer a 3 year deal (This year, plus 2 years extended). The sticking point doesn't even seem to be the years, but Trey wanting guaranteed money in the 2nd year of the deal, which the Bengals have never done before until Burrow/Chase/Higgins. All who, coincidentally, are only roughly 26 years old with a lot more tread left on the tires (especially Burrow). Again, Trey is going to be early 30's by year 2...and I can see why the Bengals may not want to offer guaranteed money for the full year/amount...but I think they should offer at least *some*. Trey has been elite for awhile now, and even if he dips down to 6-7-8 sacks over the next 2 or 3 years, teams will still scheme heavily against him, and that opens up a lot for others who will need that kind of assistance as they grow.

Trey looked pretty stoked to be forced into attending camp lol
That was a voluntary practice, which made it even funnier that Trey was there. I'm with @Cincyfan78 on this one - I absolutely want Trey to stay with the Bengals and I think he's a hell of a football player. That said, he's an extremely weird dude and a bit of a bitch. He has a good point about the Bengals being cheap and disingenuous but has a hard time articulating his point.

Interesting bait here... I think I'd rather see AJ Green on here than Chad Johnson. And Haloti Ngata over Geno Atkins. Having a hard time with Carlos Dunlap on here. I'd take James Harrison.
