I think if it was a teenager or something and still had some cuts or whatever I wouldn't agree with it but it wouldn't really upset me too much but there is really no reason to go to town like that on a 4 year old. Just seems like a complete lack of self control to hit a 4 year old until he bleeds in several locations.

Yeah JR, it's 2014 and that's now call "brutality" and you're a criminal for doing it. After all, disciplining a child is the worst thing you can do to him.

He has been indicted, that means the prosecutor has already put together a case that the grand jury views as highly credible. Being a local hero, I seriously doubt they did it flippantly.

The problem for AP is this is coming on the heels of Ray Rice and more bad press. My guess is AP gets hammered so the NFL can look ahead of the game.

AP is wrong and should have to deal with it. But he didn't knock the 4 year old out. He didn't drag an unconscious kid down a hall. He was parenting and 25 years ago this would not have been a huge issue. The problem is in todays world physical discipline is frowned upon and it appears he took it a step or two to far.

At least he was in this kids life to discipline him. I remember having a thick leather strap taken to my ass on more than one occasion and as much as it hurt I learned boundaries and consequences quickly.
