If you say Sanders was the best ever .... You got a real low goddamn football IQ

I dont know if i'd say it's a low football IQ but rather he made you say wow alot and you don't understand the limitations Barry had...

Too be honest i'm not sure Emmitt is the best Cowboys running back of all time, Tony Dorsett was pretty damn good and he didn't have the team around him Emmitt did...

On a Super Bowl potential team? Well that's got to have some studs on both offense and defense. Yeah, I would want Barry on a championship team, absolutely.

One on one in his prime Barry burns any man alive, including that long list of running backs. Now give him a hole to run through, courtesy of those championship caliber OLinemen... Forget about it.

And while I see those valid arguments made on "lowering the shoulder" and "inside the 10 yard line" at 5'8" 203 pounds, Barry's size and skillset was better suited for the open field. An open field he had to find himself more times than not. However, what's often overlooked is the lower body strength Barry possessed and his ability to simply drag, crawl, scrape, spin, pull, etc... for extra yardage and many times break completely away from defenders as well as piles of defenders. The man had cannons for legs. Still does.

well all got opinions ...

only one Rb crossed the 20+ Td season twice in his career.... that's Emmitt... and there were a few years between him doing it.

That's a hard one to argue against

even if you dont think Emmitt was the best ever.... and I've said other guys can be put in the debate.

No way form shape or fashion do I ever rank Barry as the greatest ever

Not taking away anything from Emmitt's accomplishments but the man played on championship teams with an arsenal of pro-bowlers. Makes it quite a bit easier, don't you think?

you just lost your fan card.... No Tomlinson didnt... Only once 2006 season

Smith did it under two different coaches.

Better conversations you can pick to troll in ... Cowboys ... and running back in the same one ...

Good Fucking luck :laugh3:

In 2005 LT had 20 TD's and in 2006 he had 31. I won't include that Marshall Faulk also did it twice...

You were also wrong when you said

and there were a few years between him doing it.

What was it you said about losing my fan card.

Most Sanders EVER scored in a season was 16 ... majority of which was his first THREE years in the league
Under 10 the next 3
11 three years in a row
His final was 4 ... and he QUIT

After thinking about it, I'm not sure I'd want Emmitt on my team unless it was a championship caliber team. Good thing he was never tested. :thumb:
