ESPN needs to figure out that if they want to corner the market on things like this to not have a 4 hour show to announce the Playoff and get into the other bowls before they are out there.

Well, I guess should be used to getting screwed over. Idaho's administration has been screwing the school for years, our President royally screwed us with this awful Sun Belt Presentation and uninformed decision to kill the football program, and now we're getting screwed by ESPN and Carl Benson with the shittiest bowl game out there.

The Arizona Bowl was a done deal, but we just can't have nice things. At 6-6 we wouldn't have room to complain but at 8-4 you'd think we could at least have a decent game.

I feel bad for Colorado State too. They're a good opponent and they've already been forced to spend time in Boise this year once. I'm sure their fans are equally unhappy, but at least this bowl is a conference tie-in for them. Nobody went too far out of their way to fuck them over.

Idaho fans arent really known for traveling so my best guess is they wanted to try and get a more proximal bowl for them to hopefully get some fans there.

Well it doesn't really matter for because the awful date pretty much guarantees I couldn't go if I wanted to.

You're right though, the bowl is completely unnecessary. No one wants to go to that game, and the committee and local community don't support it anyway. They could at least move it to Portland or Seattle. Weather wouldn't be much better but the location is at least desirable to some.
