You are completely right. Judging quarterbacks by rings is idiotic. People act like they all have the same supporting cast and coaches and it's entirely up to them individually in a sport with a 52 man roster. I would call that point of view unintelligent at best.

Absolutely but also have to look at whole body of work and what the QB did in playoffs. If he costs the team games with costly errors and t/o's that is a big factor. Favre and Manning have played way more games than anyone else and have had some great supporting casts, so of course they should have the most passing yards and td's. Karl Malone has more points than Jordan and Kareem has the most ever, is eithe one considered the GOAT?
