Maybe if Rodgers wasn't sucking down so much of the cap they'd be able to afford better people on defense?

Thought you were going somewhere else with this.

Which would have fit perfectly, you know... with Rodgers being.... Well never mind, you know.

So you are saying he should be getting paid less than Joe Flacco? Makes sense.

I'm saying that when one asks for money one needs to consider the salary cap. If you want to get PAID like that..OK, the offset on that is that there's less money to spread around to others.

If you're willing to take less so the FO can put better talent around you, you might be better off.

Not crying at all, couldnt be happier. Just tellin the truth. Never see so much blatant holding in a game.Packers put the Seahawks to shame with all the holding.

The Packers don't lack talent. We had a ton of injuries, mostly on defense. Plus it's not like the Packers are one to sign a big free agent anyway. They draft and develop.

I'm a Steelers fan so I have no dog in this hunt.

Yes, the Packers DID have some friendly reffing tonight, especially on the holding calls.

That being said they were the home team and that's kinda the norm. "Home cooking" they call it. And it's something the 49er's will have to keep in mind moving forward.

Whatever makes you feel better. My first post was just a joke, btw. So touchy, but but I suppose its understandable considering the circumstance.

Good luck next year.

Funny how most 49ers fans never leave their board until they win a playoff game. Then they turn sportshoopla into a shit show.

Angry Niner, don't make us all look bad by complaining about calls, especially after a win.

Aaron Rodgers made some really great plays scrambling out of the pocket. The guy is one the best. Lacy is really good too. Just gotta get that D going. Seems to have bad luck with injuries

I speak for myself. no one else.

Anyway, i made a joke. Joking. Not my fault everybody is so fucking serious. I can understand the the heat from Packer fans under the circumstances, otherwise everybody needs to relax.

Doesnt mean the refs should get a pass for poor officiating

Yeah, the Packers got a free pass on that hold on the Cobb pass, but also got hit for the hands to the face when both players were doing it. 49ers also had two big plays on D that were PIs.

None of that decided the game. Packers should have been going TD or bust on their last drive at the goal line. No idea why they were content tying it with 5 mins left. Not like the 49ers were going to try to score quick for no good reason.

You pretty much saw what this team is without Aaron Rodgers most of the year which is probably a 5-11 or 6-10 team.

You can say that about a ton of teams. Seahawks without Wilson are probably a 7-9 or 8-8 team just because they have a defense, but definitely not deep post season material. So thanks for stating the obvious.

Exactly right. This year at least they have Lacy in the run game. Last year, he had to throw all the time and had little support from his D. People harp on him for the playoff loses like he can do it all alone. We should have drafted him back in 2005

It would have made more sense if the Packers were known for signing high profile free agents to big deals but they don't.
