I read a rumor that the Eagles might be making a play for Curry.

I'd say about a 6th (assuming he has a ridiculous contract with some years left that needs renegotiating)

We are not exactly set at OLB. We need to resign Brooks after this year, Aldon is a rookie, and Haralson is so-so, and not even sure if the 4th OLB is seeing playing time or just playing special teams.

I think i would have to agree with you, all though i wasn't really sure at the time. I specifically remember watching something where they were saying he was the only true elite player. It may have been McShay or Kiper, but i don't quite remember who it was.

He renegotiated this year to void the last two years of his contract. I'm not sure how much he'd cost this season, but presumably he's relatively affordable.

He wouldn't even have a role on our team. We are more than set at inside LB. Curry provides nothing in the rushing the QB department that we need at OLB. So what he's gonna come in a few plays to cover a TE? I'll pass.

I don't even know his skill set, but if he CAN do this...wouldn't you have liked to have had him on Witten?
