Overrated stat, because if the Broncos, Cowboys and eagles all win this week then suddenly the broncos have 3 wins against teams with winning records.

Not to mention dallas and philly have are both .500 and 2 of their losses were to KC and Denver. If they win either of those games they are over 500. Just ESPN making stupid stories with little to no relevance.

You can say the same thing about KC. At the moment the only team Denver or KC have played with a current winning record is Indy, who beat Denver. Not ONE of KC opponents have a winning record as of today.

Going game by game KC faces two teams with winning records when they played those teams Dallas 1-0 and Tennessee 3-1.

Denver has only faced one team with a winning record Indy.

In short you cannot downgrade one teams schedule without downgrading the other. The AFC West has played the easiest schedule this year.

Where in this simple statement did you get lost Manster? "A Win by Denver or KC will be..."

Of course you can "say the same thing about KC", it was the whole point of my post.

Wow! And that would really change things right? OP made a point. That point was made THIS week and correct this week. The OP did not say that these 2 teams will never, ever, forever, play a winning team?Next week will be different.....

The same could also be said of the Chiefs. If they, the cowboys and eagles win, KC would have beaten three teams with winning records. Denver's schedule is quite similar to the Chiefs schedule yet it's KC who gets crap for having an easy schedule.

Agreed, it seems to be all we hear about the last few weeks. KC is unbeaten but...
To me, it (weakness of schedule) means absolutely nothing. Didn't the Patriots lose in Cleveland in '11 when New England was the best team in football (up until the SB, at least) and the Browns were pretty bad? It's funny how the Chiefs get so little respect because of a perceived lack of offense and so-called weaker opponents when the defense has done something that no team in 80 years (including the 86 Bears and 01 Ravens) has done. Honestly, I don't think they will do the same to Denver either but if they do shut down Peyton and co. and win this thing, people should give them their due props.

the patriots have beaten one team with a winning record. That's SO much more impressive than 0! See means little to nothing. Worthless stat.

Only reason is Denver (Peyton) is ahead of the all time greatest offensive season stats...thats the only reason, but it was a bit easy to put up those stats against soft defensive teams....Denvers schedule is what the 2nd easiest behind the Chiefs...

all of it doesn't matter until Denver fans jaw drops after the flee flicker works in the 1st quarter and the fake punt works in the 2nd quarter...even Manning will be going "what just happened"...

t minus..........
