A National Championship with no one to root for?

I've never had this happen but I don't like either team in the Super Bowl. I can't imagine actually not watching it but I don't really watch games with no interest in the outcome.

Have you guys run into this before? Who did you end up rooting for and why?

I can always find one team to dislike more. I can't recall ever watching a game and not wanting one of the teams to lose it more that the other one. I also can't recall making it a point to intentionally avoid watching the game just because I can't stand either team.

Cause, you know, I would have missed almost every single one of them...

Normally Sonny, that's how I would roll. But I find it extremely difficult to root for the Patriots as long as they have Hoodie-magic and Giselle.

I'll watch the first few minutes and then my rooting interest will fall one way or another. It may be based on which team does the biggest dick-ass move during pre-game or the first couple possessions.

Why do people hate the Seahawks? The Patriots I can understand. I want the Seahawks to win.

Why are people so incredible sensitive to hate for an NFL team? All other teams are fair game but we're not allowed to hate the Seahawks. It's really puzzling.

I'm a Syracuse football fan. Every playoff/championship game is this way for me.

I actually find it easier to evaluate things like how officials call the game. Or how Seattle came back against a gimpy, wore out Aaron Rodgers in the 4th quarter.

I say watch it and have a great time watching fans meltdown.

Many times. Last year was awful given that it was Denver (goes without saying) and Seattle (old AFCW rival) besides the snorefest on the field. Stopped watching after halftime and caught up on some reading.

What's funny about this board, there is plenty of hate about Seattle, but people bitch when Seattle fans defend their team. It's like they want Seattle fans to just be quiet and take the heat.
