he made mechanical adjustments before last start. gave up 1 ER.

45 starts, .500 record..4+ era...baseball has streaks, he is going WAY beyond a bad stretch.

Give me 3 or 4 QS in a row and I will believe he made a adjustment. One outing after a string or 5 to 7 shitty ones means zilch to me.

Eh, Escobar seems to stay within himself more in the 9 hole. Acts as a 2nd leadoff man in the lineup. I would have this against RHP's:

Same deal against LHP's except swap Dyson for Aoki. And of course, Valencia for Moose.

escobar hit well in the 2 hole when he also put up 30 sbs, lead off is where he really sucked...but I actually really like your lineup also..

sliding Escobar in the 2 hole and moving everyone down 1 would look pretty sweet also...

who would have thought the way the Royals been hitting the last 4 games, then getting 2 cy young winners who might be the in the top 5 pitchers of 2014 at this point...it was a receipe for disaster...sometimes you just have to fold. Tue night, I still could see Kershaw back to backing.
