lol...of course have to explain things to you again and again...The Royals haven't seen 1st place after april 7thish in over 5 years or longer...of course the Royals fans or fans of any team with that kind of stretch would be excited, happy for finally getting into 1st place at any point past may. The orginal statement was called "sarcasm"..just look up the word.

The Royals wouldn't have seen the last two seasons without trading for Shields/Davis, a .235 hitting OF who gets injuried wouldn't have helped at all.

.235 hitting outfielder sounds like he would fit right in with the rest of the royals lineup.

Every team has its homer fan... I guess this guy is the Royals... Dude talks about the Royals like they have won the division or made the playoffs since 1985.

Fun things that we have now that were not around the last time the Royals finished a division in first place :

Cell Phones
digital camera
tv's without knobs on them
laptop computers
internet **** (royals fans only refuge after their team is eliminated from playoff contention)

like I said, Dougie SR Vice returns and you provide the clear info to back it up, just great

those same things weren't around since the Tigers won a ring, along with Don Deinkenger's name being famous...what is that 30 years since the Tigers won a WS? only 29 for the Royals...think the Tigers are in the top 10 for "longest time between Championships"

Guess your not a real Tigers fan...you bailed from 1985-2005 on the Tigers, sorta obvious you don't know their history...just another bandwagon fan who jumps on a winner so he can make fun of others, lol...

You bore me anymore, your the same tune...Cleeves and even Laker make some sense, you are nothing but a bandwagoner.

sorry but i have to put you on ignore, your not making much sense and I don't want to pick on you, I actually have liked this TIgers team more than I have in years after they got rid of Fielder.

I get Royals fans want a reason to be proud of their team.. but the Royals have done absolutely nothing since 1985 to gain any type of respect from anyone. Their scouts are horrible... I mean seriously... with the draft picks they have had to work with they sure seem to miss often. Developement... yeah... they take guys that supposedly have talent and turn them into what ever Bubba Starling and Moustakas is now. The front office is not even close to average... the team has done nothing in 29 yrs.... so yeah... I guess they have to find any shred of light to be proud of. Enjoy your team bro... Let the world know you don't care if they are a good franchise... its ok... rep your team and be proud.

LOL... Tigers have been relevant for the last 8 years and have won how many division titles and AL pennants? The Royals have less winning seasons in the last 29 years than the Tigers have division titles... I bailed on the Tigers? How so? Because the internet chat sites were not around for you to see posts from me? lol... nice try.

A lot of teams would take porcello over duffy or ventura. And Smyly is on par with both... Have either completed an entire season in the MLB? Smyly and Porcello have.

Debatable. I'm high on Porcello, but Ventura has a high ceiling as well and he's about 2.5 years younger than Porcello. Most teams would take the younger pitcher.

Nothing makes me smile more than someone that is a fan of a team in sports that has done absolutely nothing at all in decades talking smack about a team that has been in the conversation as the best team in baseball for nearly the last decade. I mean... win a playoff game at least before you start acting like your team is on par with a legit title contender.

Pittsburgh fans were never so mouthy.... and still are respectful and mindful of their place in the MLB... Why can't royals fans? It really must get old watching the Tigers in Oct because the Royals team is on vacation in Mexico, praying that some other team beats them so that you don't have to see a world series banner in Comerica next to all the division titles and al pennants the Tigers have racked up in the last 8 years.

Ventura is an injury away from being a bullpen pitcher... Porcello is a proven starter with more ceiling to reach... and already more career wins than any pitcher has had for the royals in god knows how long.

Holy LOL.

Red Sox, Angels, Cardinals, Yankees, Phillies (even with their recent struggles), and Giants have easily been better than the Tigers over the last decade.

Because god forbid you look for it yourself.

I know what they are... I am proving a point... One team is much better at hitting a baseball.... and its not the team in KC

Who the fuck cares. Wins and losses for pitchers are a meaningless stat nowadays, especially since complete games are rare nowadays.

And one team's better at throwing and fielding a baseball... and it's not the team in Detroit.

If you want to bet which team ends up with more wins and you want to take KC... I will gladly sign any paper you want to make the bet official for say... $100? $1000?

Just for the record, I still think the Tigers win the division.

So then you agree which team is better... and are just arguing for the sake of argument... I see.
