I knew a lot of their hitting numbers were flukes but hard to see everyone crashing so hard.
Moss, CoCo, Callapso, Moss you name them, they couldn't hit. Except Donaldson and even he didn't hit for much average.
Pitching is big, but you gotta be able to hit some.

Hands down, the most incredible game I have ever been too, to come back 3 times down. Get to Lester. I don't even know if I ever want to go to another Royals game, I will never see a better one.
if ANY wants to know what HEART is, you saw it in that game, Hosmer, Moose, Colon, Butler, Cain, Dyson.....Doug, you speak of HEART, now you actually know what it finally looks like.
I would still fire Ned Yost for putting Ventura in, worst decision I have seen a manager do factoring in all the information...I just hope Ventura doesn't go Rick Ankiel on the Royals...

Ditto. I may go out and buy some Royals gear to wear when I'm cheering them on. Granted the Tigers have to win first, which is by no means, a given. Detroit has shown they can disappear for long stretches and in a short series -- anything can happen.
The Angels though -- they have just owned us badly, even when they weren't playing well -- Detroit was always the cure all for them. Will be fun to watch both of the AL series coming up.
Congrats again to the Royals and their fans. What an atmosphere at the game last night. I can only imagine what it would be like if the Lions ever had a home playoff game any time soon. I still have faith that one day soon they will.
