I'm not defending Coke, nor the decision to leave him out another inning, nor the fact that he's still on a major league roster, let alone the roster of a contending team. But we don't know that Al Al or Reed would have held a 1-run lead either. The fact is, despite all the crappy play and stupidity of the Tigers earlier in the game (most of which gandydancer summed up), the Tigers were STILL able to hand a 2-run lead in the 9th to their $10 million-a-year closer. And he gagged. Do you realize Joe Nathan is on pace to blow more saves this season than Jose Valverde ever did in his worst season as a Tiger?

I'm ok with that, for two reasons:

1) In both 2011 and '12, the Tigers went on to lose the next round. So beating the Yankees accomplished nothing., which made me feel better.

and

2) Have you counted how many times the Yankees have won the WS since the Tigers last did? ROFL

Yup a bum.....notice im not a MLB GM....the trade was for fantasy.....there was a reason napoli was a FA all year until GVSU picked him up as of late.....ill take my 1B over him anyday....vmart rizzo and fielder....so yup hes a BUM.....and i would think 9 other fantasy owners thinks hes a bum also since he was available ALL year....

Hey you asked for an OF and I have four studs, was trying to work with you, but never even got a response. Fielder is a slightly worst bum than napoli currently.

I offered upton and napoli for prince and d brown. Upton is much better than brown and fielder is much better than napoli. Thought it was an ok trade offer, would have offered hosmer but I knew you didnt like him. Then again you dont really need a 1b, but I didnt want to swap a stud OF straight up for prince since hes been noticeably declining for a couple of years.
