Funny reading Dougie braggin on himself in our fantasy league, he's the only one who has had nobody on the DL and he's still not in first place, there are a few of us who have been killed by the DL this year, I have had no less than 7 players on the DL so far. Quit braggin Dougie it's a long season.

No he had at least one...adam eaton, he released him. I only know because he told us how amazing he was for picking him up only 20 times.

Im assuming you mean our league since you picked up murphy there, but brantley isnt available, maybe it was another league...you are in quite a few. Reminds me of earlier this season when I thought I was awesome for picking up chisenhall for the day for a doule header, didnt play in either, lol. I dont get it either, chisenhall should be regularly playing.

I can only speak for myself when I say..... Prolly not. Hahahaha (theres a lot of addition, multiplication and then finally division. Plus weighted ratios. I think Im too old for that stuff. (33)). Maybe if it was a story problem Id feel differently.

Yeah ill stick with whip, era, k per 9, war, avg, obp, slg, and splits when determining a players value in any given situation. Beyond that, not everyone is a total nerd like nava. Although IM definitely a baseball nerd. Just playing nava.

remember the super bowl was played there. Cinnci Vs SF. biter cold day. sub zero with wind chill around 15 below. people had to walk a mile just to get from the parking lot to the doors lol.

My team had been playing great until sunday afternoon where my hitters were 1-36 before kinsler and vmart tore it up on sunday night baseball..

remember before the season...some of you wanted to get rid of V Mart??????? I argued against it. because we needed his bat. didn't think he would have such a good season.But we were short on bats. lot of you wanted him gone.

it took 10 innings..to beat the Tugers. rod allen says Tigers will be dragging ass tonight. he said it before last nights game. still 6-1 on this road trip


I like Kinsler. the guy always does some thing good. that trade was a good one for sure. even though ttigers had to pay to get rid of Fielder. NOW Fielder says his neck was hurting last year. Bet the Rangers were pissed when he said that.

best memory of that place. I was real young. me and a couple buddys were at a Lions preseason game. we kept yelling at Kenny Easly of the Seattle Seahawks. we had him so mad. he wanted to come after us. Other players held him back. Security told us to knock it off lol

Verlander needs to change up his game plan. Cleveland is hitting bullets all over the place. He has been helped out by a double play ball and poor base running by Santana, so he has only given up 1 run, but they are teeing off on his fastball.

he struggled early last year, but he was almost unhittable the last month and the playoffs. he looked great early this year and then the last couple starts -- something just seems off.

teams just don't seem to swing and miss at his fastball anymore and his control seems off too.

Career .259/.359/.498 hitter (as a C/1B) and has a .399 OBP this year and he's a bum? Lol ok.

All true, but I'd reserve judgment until at least mid-season. He showed the ability to turn it around last year, and there does not appear to be anything physically wrong with him. Seems to be mechanics again -- which affects velocity, movement, and ESPECIALLY location. The location (27 walks in 66 IP) worries more than anything.

And perhaps Cleveland is just a hot hitting team right now. They're tearing Scherzer a new one today, though the sloppy D has given them 4 outs each of the first two innings.
