As much as I like Carlos, he's just terrible defensively. Maybe go with Santana at 1B and Miggy at 3rd?

Chisenhall's falling off a cliff. He's batted .195/.282/.305 (.233 BABIP) in his last 196 PA. Almost spanning 2 months.

Hmmmmmmmm -- I honestly can't wait to watch the Tigers game tonight. Not to often I will get to watch a pitcher that I've never seen throw a pitch.

Apparently Buck Farmer was drafted last year in the 5th round. Has a mid 90's fastball, hitting as high as 97, an advanced Slider and two different change ups (one in the high 80's and one slower).

Who knows -- maybe Buck ends up pitching well and he can be moved to the bullpen for the rest of the year? Maybe it is wishful thinking, as the guy has pitched only 2 games above Single A (3.00 ERA in 12 innings). Either way -- at least it will make the game interesting to watch tonight.

completely agree, I tripped across the guy just last week looking at some stats and it was like he appeared out of no where. Why not at least try him out in the bullpen, can't hurt at all. Very interested in the guy, I put a bid on him Monday to pick him up for one of my teams minor leagues.

For a guy who hasn't pitched above A until last week. He looks very poised on the mound. He just gave up his first run in the 3rd inning on a 2 out hit, but he pounds the strike zone and seems to have pretty good off speed pitches.

I wouldn't be upset at all if they move him to the bullpen once our starting pitchers get healthy. He is a guy they could use in long relief or spot duty in games.

Granted it is only the 3 innings into the game, but I really like what I see and as I said, I didn't even know his name until you mentioned him and I usually read up on our minor league reports on who is hot and who is not.

Hes just up due to the 19 inning game, followed up by JVS injury. As long as JV can pitch in 10 days, farmer will be back down.
