Earlier today on the radio they were trying to spin it as a positive that it wasn't torn from the bone. I mean, yeah, that's a good thing. But when you're mentoning that, you know it's bad.

Be good for baseball if he's back this year. National audiences should see the games best players when it counts. I just don't think he will be. (Not trying to troll, but I have to mention, there's a chance that he's played his last game as a Royal. Also don't want that, unless he signs with Detroit.)

its vice, its rarely true. He likes to put things in, he is a victim context, I didn't see them "making fun" of Miggy's injury, just many realizing that was the nail in the coffin for the Tigers.

I actually agree, was with the family at the game and we talked the rest of the game about it. I can't remember who, but a few years I had someone on my fantasy team that did the same thing. He tried to play after 8 weeks but it lingered on and it seemed like he was day to day the rest of the season.

I would beg to let him rest for 12 weeks, then let him try it out

I would hope not. They've been trying to extend the guy for a while. Would be a shame, been my personal favorite to watch for several years now.

so long as he gets some games in before the PS, I think it's a good idea to let him rest as long as possible. If he can come back. I'd think it'd be a bad idea to put him out there in the playoffs if he hasn't played since the first week of June. Extra effort would be a bad thing.

Absolutely. Escobar is a utility guy. Rosario is a potential legit MLB starter.

Been one of my favorites for years too. As a Royal. (Screamed for DD to make an attempt for him when you guys sent him back down that first year.)

He's one of the few "franchise" guys in MLB right now, imo.
