Fien has been good to us for most of the year. Machado and Davis are on pace for 35-40 homers. It happens.

I agree with the Mauer and Dozier assessment. With guys like Rosario and Hicks helping at the bottom, or even unknown catchers, Minnesota's offense becomes quite decent.

Tommy Milone undefeated in the day, ERA near one.. we might have day playoff pitcher.

Glen Perkins breaks Joe Nathan's consecutive saves record, and tied Eddie Guardado for 4th in total saves. A good day.

The only thing I am 'worried' about right now is our pen... will it be good enough to compete down the stretch?

Actually Fein has been awful lately. Really only Perkins can be rellied on.

Also our offense is still very, very poor. But the issue is the guys to replace can't really be replaced. Out biggest log jam is Of/DH and that's what all our good minors players play.

Rotation and Perkins are studs right now though.

I say Polanco for Santana and Arcia up here to protect Sano. Now you've got a lineup.

Twins site is goddamn worthless. Only shown Moose and his leading total with Doz in second. Then imply it's cespedes, Gardner, Bogaerts.

Yesterday they had moose at 7.4 and now 11.8 today. But the article says "dozier closes the gap, second baseman closing in on Moose" and stats that he got "4 mil Wednesday alone"

I'll bet you are. Being 2 1/2 games back that would put you ahead of the Twins going into the all-star break. Of course, if the Twins were to win 3 of 4, that would mean you are 4 1/2 back at the break... of 2nd place.

CBS ended chats has me looking for a home. As for Bud, guys like him are why CBS ended chats. I am confident we can split, I am hopeful for more. Of course, Detroit has had our number this year. Last year, as bad as we were, we had the edge. Price v Pelfrey is a must win game for them, because after David it gets a LOT easier. We have like six number 4-5 starters, no one is really that good. Pelfrey has pitched very well... hopeful it continues.

Royals fans on CBS were making fun of Miggy getting injured and I told them karma will get them... It did.. but I have a feeling Gordon isn't the last one to get hurt...
