Lol don't think that's coming as of now. Rotation actually the strong suit. The key is finding Arcia a spot who is mashing in AAA.

Also getting Pelfrey out and may back in(just a dumb decision).

Needed space, don't think they wanted to put Cain on DL because of ASG selection, his era was great but Whip is terrible, letting too many others runners score. He is 38 as well. Also wanted to keep Finnegan up.

Rondon threw pitches of 100 and 101 MPH. At least his arm is back. Krol is a disaster. Has great stuff, but no ability to "pitch". Need to combine Krol's stuff with Blaine Hardy's location, and then we might finally have a useful LH relief pitcher.

FIP over 4, so not really outside of ERA if you put stock in it. With the caveat of course reliever samples are always weird and volatile (Boxberger filing assault charges on Paulo Orlando right about now). Kind of shocked Finnegan wasn't sent back to AAA first to work on starting- specifically working on control. Guthrie and Blanton were much more DFA worthy than a middling reliever in Frasor, IMO.

Fien has been good to us for most of the year. Machado and Davis are on pace for 35-40 homers. It happens.

I agree with the Mauer and Dozier assessment. With guys like Rosario and Hicks helping at the bottom, or even unknown catchers, Minnesota's offense becomes quite decent.

Tommy Milone undefeated in the day, ERA near one.. we might have day playoff pitcher.

Glen Perkins breaks Joe Nathan's consecutive saves record, and tied Eddie Guardado for 4th in total saves. A good day.

The only thing I am 'worried' about right now is our pen... will it be good enough to compete down the stretch?
