Price has just moved up to top two pitchers for the trade deadline, he should get a great return.

If the Tigers are within a few of the Wild Card, there's no way they deal him, even knowing they have a good chance to lose him at the end of the season.

Frustrating part is I expected a slaughter and instead we literally threw the game away.
And Pelfrey will stay in rotation.

Well, last night was the game Minny fans probably expected to be the toughest to win. Now you gotta face our murderer's row of starters: Verlander, Simon and probably Buck Farmer. Ugh. Just hope the Tigers can steal one of these three.

Twins announcers said its gonna be Greene

We obviously have the edge in pitching but you guys have the edge in simply not losing to us lol.

I'd be disappointed big time if this isn't a series split at least though.

Would mean again our lineup just sucks.

good point, same situation Royals were in with Santana two seasons ago, Det will still get a 1a draft pick out of him.

Ahh, okay. I know they demoted Kyle Ryan, who was filling the #5 spot, and brought up Farmer. I hadn't heard that Greene was coming back up to the parent club. Hope he found his location again in AAA.

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that the Twins would have the starting pitching edge over Detroit in ANY series. Just speaks to how hard the loss of Scherzer hurts, and how atrocious Verlander is.

Twins are in a MUCH better position than even the bravest of hopefuls could have thought. Around 5 games back, 2nd place, and only a few games til All-Star break.

I do not see the Twins acquiring a Hamels or a Cueto, but I could see a minor deal for a bullpen arm or two. Steve Cishek is getting cheaper everyday. No, the help is gonna come from the organization. Somehow Molitor got the Twins brass to let some talent rise to the majors a little earlier than anticipated.

If Aaron Hicks plays like this, Buxton could find himself back at AAA for 2015. We have a few big bats in Walker, Kepler, Vargas, and Arcia.. that could be called on later in the year. A couple of pitchers, including future star Jose Berrios.

I do not think we are sellers, therefore, we are probably not buyers. But this year's team has been surprising in many ways... we will see.

Yup and actually right now it's also because of how well the Twins starters have done. Before last nights game our rotation as a whole had like a 3.02 in last 20 games. Crazy how far that's come.

Shame the hitting and bullpen sans Perkins won't cooperate though!!

I am pretty optimistic the rotation will be better than it has been. Medlen is coming back. Vargas is better than Guthrie and Blanton by a long shot.

As a teacher on summer vacation I confess I supported Brian Dozier most than many zealots. My hundreds of votes probably won't be enough. As well as my retweets to my twitter posse. I did what I could. Dozier is more deserving than the Moose, though I do not begrudge Moustakas, he deserves it too. So does Cespedes.

We should all receive first-place trophies.

I don't really feel Cespedes is AllStar worthy. There are plenty of outfielders who you could make somewhat of a case for.

But I did find it odd that he isn't in the Home Run Derby. It's kind of what he's best at. (Sucks that batting practice is where a guy shines, but it is what it is.)
