tigers were out of contention and sat a bunch of star players in Sept.. and still out drew the royals.. what does that say about the market and fan base there?

oh i know it.. and that is why its going to be fun to watch KC crumble.. because the market is so small that its going to take another 30 years before they see another playoff game when it does fall apart.it says Detroit is a larger market, but everyone but you seems to know it. Is this all you got now, attendance figures, this is what you want to argue about?

I honestly doubt they make the playoffs in 2016... yes.. i do doubt it.. and when they stop making the playoffs they are going to start selling off players like Hosmer and Moustakas to reload the farm.... so yeah... gonna be a while once the marry go round stops.so now your predicting the Royals will not make the post season in 2016? or for the next 30 years? lol....thank you so much, your predictions a few years ago panned out oh so well, lol
If tampa doesn't get a new stadium deal it most certainly is moving as soon as the team legally can.so where did they move Tampa too?
lol.. this is coming from the guy that argued that Simon is better than Pelfrey.your just reaching to TRY and argue, you just must not feel right if you don't argue.

LOL.. no.. once miggy is gone. .the tigers will have 30 mil to spend on a free agent.. there is a huge difference between major market teams and small market teams.. The Tigers can reload.. the only reason they did not do this in the 90's and early 00's was because Ilitch spend the extra 100 mil the Tigers get now on the Red Wings.. The NHL salary cap went into place.. now that money goes to the tigers... From that point on.. the Tigers have went out and got players to stay competitive.. unless Glass decides to keep payrolls growing.. they don't have that luxury.before Hosmer and Moose, it was Damon and Beltan, it will be a different duo after that.
Once Miggy is done Detroit is going to struggle, it happens to every team

and simon IS out of baseball right now.. his only shot at getting a contract is either a minor league deal or a cheap deal to go into the bullpen...I would still take Simon over Pelfrey, Pelfrey was almost out of baseball at 7.99 era and more walks than k's just the year before last year, they didn't even want him in the pen. then he is 6-11 on a winning Minn team...Simon doubled his wins on a losing team.
Man telling you Pelfrey is going to suck ass this season, pocket that one.

Money can most certainly replace players when you are talking 30 mil... There is a reason why the Yankees make the playoffs 98% of the time since committing to being a top 3 payroll in the league... and it most certainly isn't because the don't spend.Miggy is/was a special player, Money isn't going to replace him
