Going to be interesting to see what the Sox do the next 12 hours or so. I'd be shocked if they don't get back to .500 tonight with Sale on the mound vs a shitty Red Sox team. WC2 is in play for them if they keep pulling their head out of their ass.

like scherzer? his 25 million this year has got the Nats 11-8 record.... if scherzer was with Detroit...he would be 15-3. so I think cepedes would love to stay in Detroit...more so when miggy gets back..his numbers will be the highest here in detroit

Ah, man. I remember when I had the heart you do kid. All the times the White Sox, Bulls or Bears would be just awful… but then they'd beat up on a bottom feeding team, and I clammer that their season was still alive. I'd argue with you, but I admire you too much. Your youthful optimism and naivety brings me back to a good place. Plus, I don't debate children. Good luck to the Tigers with their rebuilding process.

Why would any good ball player want to hang around a team with no future? The Tigers will be bottom feeders for the next few years. They gutted their farm system for years, for a shot at a world series win they never got. You don't get to do that, and not pay a price at some point. lol

I do think it will be a fun battle for 2nd in the Central. Chicago and Cleveland are probably favorites. Detroit is having fire sale and Twins are playing prospects. But that does not mean Dougy's Tigers cannot get hot or my Twins continue to win with smoke and mirrors.

KC is locked and loaded. I liked the Angles the most prior to these trades. Royals upgrade better than the Angels Shane Victorino. Texas still won't catch them, but their pitching is getting stronger. New York is a powerhouse (sadly), they are playing well.

Houston upgraded, but I still think they will fall short. Too much inexperience. Did they add a Baylor type for leadership? Kazmir is good and all, but only plays once every five days. Need a veteran bat to calm everyone down.

Frustrating to watch all the deals when you know your team could be MUCH better with a couple of smaller moves. Just an arm or two, please..

iffy...incase you didn't know the season goes on till October...for some..not so much down KC way....but you lucked out last year and played into October last year....
