No idea. They seem to just want to start him full time in LF from what I have seen which is a huge head scratcher with the Infante problem. This presumably changes when Gordon gets back in September.

For a team that couldn't "afford" to get anyone, Cueto and Zobrist are the best players that fit for what the Royals needed. Cueto for the Vargas injury and Zobrist for the Gordon injury/Infante problem Dayton Moore address 3 worst issues with 2 of the best players available.

Dayton did the same thing in the same in the off season addressing Butler/Aoki/Shields, with Morales/Rios/Edison.

I love how Dayton looks to improve the weakest spot, not making good spots better. A team is only good as its weakest link.

75 point difference is massive.
