kid Norris had a nice game today. we need a lefty. young one.
so trade working out so far.plus we don't have to pay him 24 million a year.
we can get rid of avila,costellonos...use that money for help there next year.
and bull pen. soria isn't worth big $$$ any more.still good but not worth big $$$

Ned Yost has always been a douche. He knows damn well what Volquez did in the 1st- he's just protecting his players like he always does. He'll absolutely never throw anyone under the bus no matter how bad or scummy they are.

What's up with Perkins sucking?

Something is wrong in the land of Perkins. He looks hurt, ball not quite as sharp breaking.
It is the worst time for it. I think that is why they got Jepsen, they know it too.

Unfortunately, Jepsen is not an upgrade from a hobbled Perkins.

Buck Farmer is GARBAGE. Several call-ups to the majors, and hasn't done squat. Handed a 6-0 lead on Saturday and gave most of it back before being yanked.

Totally forgot that the big get for the Tigers in the Price deal is the lunatic who lives in his van that I read about during Spring Training.

That "lunatic" just threw a 4-hitter over 7.1 innings for a 6-1 win.

Actually, Dombrowski got a pretty good haul of prospects, considering all three players dealt were 2-month "rentals".

This my guess as to why the umpire ejected Sanchez instead of Madson. To hit Escobar, you got to go the extra mile so to speak. Or, your command just sucks- which given Sanchez' history, isn't completely out of the question either.
