At the start of the 8th inning, we were saying (in unison): "why would he bring Rondon out for this inning; he's the worst pitcher out of the pen"? We looked at each other and laughed. Then, we both said: "time to bring out your closer", when the bases were loaded with the Tigers still holding an 8-6 lead. Then, the comment: "the shit is going to hit the fan" came out of the group. Then, pow, we were instantaneously down two runs. Nice job, Brad, for falling asleep once again.

It seems I have picked a decent season to be stuck working wierd hours. Of the (maybe) 10-15 Tigers games I've seen they have won maybe half. So my small sample is right on par for a .500 season.

Time to sell IMO. Truly do not have anyone special to give up for what is needed to compete down the stretch. Time to restock the shelves in the cupboard.

If I were the Twins, I'd sell high on Plouffe for pitching (Mets?) move Sano to 3B, and move Arcia to DH.

Yup that's what most people want. Plouffe could actually get a decent haul right now but the problem is our GM loves the vets.

We badly need left handed power. When Mauer is your leader in homers from the left side and it's not 2009.....you are in trouble.

Still want Pierzynksi brought back too. Suzuki blows. If Lucroy doesn't cost too much I'd want him.
