Gotta trade for a starter, Hamels or whoever.

Are KCs starters still LAST in innings pitched?

I agree with the whoever part, still don't think they will go for the $90m one

might be, wouldn't doubt it, everyone but Edison has stuggled for them.

Mike Leake and Kazmir would be my choices for you guys.

Then your Royals have a shot at getting the pennant again. (Or go bigger and deal Ventura's crazy ass.)

Mike Leake would be my choice for anyone. More bang for your buck than other guy available.

Twins do not need SP, or maybe just a Leake type. But we do need two or three arms in the pen. Brad Ziegler, Zack Duke, Tyler Clippard... guys like that.

I am not as sold on Arcia being the answer as my fellow Twins fan hockey. I will concede Suzuki has taken a tumble, but they are not gonna take him out of there after all-star 2014 season. Could use a shortstop for Santana and friends, and a big bat in the outfield. Be nice to have Sano and Hunter hitting 6th and 7th. A Nick Markakis, or an Andre Ethier type along with Starlin Castro or a Ben Zobrist.

In reality I hope they do not make all these moves for 2015. The future is near, no time to let go of good prospects. Jose Berrios just had a shutout today in AAA. Arcia deserves a chance for his hard-hitting in the minors.

2-4 in Oakland and Los Angeles/Anaheim is not good, but a game from adequate. Tigers loss today hurts them badly, the Mariners are awful. Indians trying to get back into the race. Royals looking to run away with first. Minnesota would have to add too many things to be competitive playoff wise with Royals and Angels. Maybe even Yankees...

Stand pat... give kids a chance.

I would want Leake. His road HR/9 is half of what it is in the smallpark. I think he might greatly benefit from pitching in Kauffman stadium to take away the fringe homer.

Royals are going to get Cuerto or Leake, Moore can sell that to Glass. They get Cole and Glass can't use the "we can't afford it" speak again.

Arcia is a left handed power bat the one thing we need.

What's supposedly his issues? Defense and plate discipline. Have you seen Santana's defense?

Hunters, plouffes, Rosario's, Santana or Suzukis OBPs?

It makes no sense to punish Arcia when we have guys who suck ass at doing the things he supposedly has to work at

While we continue to get shut down by every righty we face because we have no lefty bats.

Pierzynski and Arcia are musts. Thank god Plouffes wife is having a baby any day now. Arcia up, when Plouffe returns send Santana to rookie ball.

I think Rosario is holding him back. Rosario is better defensively, and faster. Arcia struggled with the outfield in 2014, and his slow start with the bat in 2015 did not help with coaches. Again, they claim he needs to work on hitting lefties.

I do think they should call him up. It is his turn.

Pierzynski just rubs me the wrong way. Never liked him. He would bring a better bat, a lefty one at that, and a good PH when not catching. But then if we are PH catchers we would need to carry three. Not a bad idea, and if you have lost faith in Suzuki, then a good idea.

Is either Adam Walker or Max Keppler a lefty?

what some of you don't realize...Verlander has 1 of the biggest EGOs in the game.
he loves being one of the best pitchers. he wants to be back on top so bad.
never count him out. he is healthy now... he will win over 20 this year.

He still could win over 20 this year, but it sure as shit wont be baseball games. Maybe 20+ games of chess against his big-titted special lady friend?

Seriously, I think it's that ego of his that won't let him learn to pitch without that nasty fastball.

It's too bad, I really liked watching him pitch. Oh, shit. Who am I kidding? He seems like a dick. I'm glad he's turned to shit.
