As a "Stay at Home" member of the AL Central, Thank You Cleveland Indians. You represented our division well. Amongst all the blame, I told you so, I am smarter than you, stalking, and other foolishness, I am very proud of the run the Indians had. You will be a force to be reckoned with next year and we will deal with that. But for now, Thank You!!!

In Arizona, it is well known that Paul Goldschmidt had a down year, fielding-wise. The announcers talked about it often. Yet he is nominated again for a Gold Glove. Why? Reputation. And he still provided good offense.

He's one of the highest ranked Angels prospects, but that doesn't say much. Sickels had him as a B-/C+ entering 2016 and he didn't really do anything to improve on that.

The Tigers are banking on Victor Alcantera being one of those failed starters who becomes a decent reliever. His numbers as a starter were underwhelming (4.60 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and too many walks). But he can hit 97-98 on the gun, and after the Angels' system put him in the bullpen for the final 13 innings of 2016, he only gave up 2 ER. Very limited sample size, I know.

From what I've heard, the Tigers were not going pick up the option on Maybin anyway, because they are in salary-dump mode. At least they got something in return, albeit not much (on paper).

Prediction: Dougplayer picks Blue Jays over Indians. Results: Cleveland wins, become AL Champs

Prediction: Doug changes course, picks Cleveland over Cubs. Results: Cubs beat Indians. LOL

Got to go. I am pawning every thing I own so I can bet on OSU beating UM. Dougplayer has predicted a Wolverine win....so the Buckeyes are as sure bet as you can get. My fear is that once the Vegas bookies hear that doug has predicted a UM win....they will take the game off the board. I would not blame them.

Wolverines are beating Maryland "AT HOME, in a tough game" 38-0 in the third quarter. I'm kind of happy that the UM isn't letting doug down (at least until OSU game) like the rest of his teams. Tigers, Indians, Lions have kind of said "F-U, doug!".....at least Michigan is still undefeated and ranked #3 (both nationally and in the State of Michigan)
