I'll just respond to the first couple lines of your post being we were talking about offense, they added Park and the younger players have more experience which is what leads me to believe the offense is better in 16 I also think Mauer rebounds a bit, he probably isn't gonna hit .265 again. I would also hope Buxton will do much better than what he showed in 15 if he does that makes the entire offense much better. If not then who knows but he was pretty bad last year.
dude.. park is not in any way shape or form a sure thing. I get being excited.. but he has never even seen an mlb pitcher yet. korean leagues are not even on par with AAA.

I get it you don't think much of the Twins offense for 2016 I think they will be better, I guess we will see. Let's talk about this again in August...

Who did they replace him with?

LOLZZZZ seriously? They could have replaced him with Lamar from Revenge of the nerds and it would be an improvement.

So did the Tigers.
yeah.. and the tigers also rebuilt their bullpen... and got rid of stank ass simon. You can't compare the offseasons of the Tigers and Twins... The Twins have done nothing what so ever to get better. They will be lucky if Park is half as good at the plate as Hunter was last year.

In his three years with the Twins his ERA is around 5 and his WHIP is over 1.5, yeah great signing for the Tigers.

Which is handy, because I didn't. You mentioned that the Twins won more games than they statistically should have, and I pointed out that the Tigers did too.

It could relate to this discussion in that if the 69 games the Tigers "should have" won by their pythag is the baseline, a 10-win improvement over 2015 could net them 79 wins.

Yeah, lets use a small sample size not his overall numbers. In Sept when the team needed him most he posted a ERA nearly 7 and a WHIP of nearly 1.7, spin it how you want, by May you'll be posting WTF were the Tigers thinking!

Simon was 5-2 thru June with an era in the 2's.

Not sure how the formula works. but missing Miggy, VMart, Verlander, and Sanchez for long stretches... while trading away Cespedes, Soria, and Price probably had something to do with the projected win total for last year...
