It was encouraging watching Salazar tonight and Carrasco the other night- and Kluber is rock solid.

As much as Tomlin has shit the bed- if Carrasco, Salazar and Kluber are showing up every 5th day for the Tribe they are going to be tough to beat down the stretch. Salazar looked nasty.

Jose Ramirez has been a god-send. He has been the teams Brantley this year- hitting in the clutch and getting big hits. Its a shame Brantley cant be a part of this. On a night where Miller finally gets hit to have the team pick him up and win at home was big.

Tigers are playing good ball and hanging around- and of course- a 5.5 game lead is not safe when you play a team 7 times down the stretch- but - if Carrasco, Salazar and Kluber do what they are doing right now its gonna give the Tribe a really good shot.


Verlander has been really really good - deserves his accolades for that August. Unfortunately for the Tigers Fullmer is starting to look fatigued and there isnt much consistency behind Verlander.
