i betcha indy disagrees:suds:

If Indy fans feel that Josh is hot garbage then I'd imagine they be thrilled to welcome him to the AFC South where surely they think they will beat him every time they play him and maybe even hang another participation banner or two in the process.

When doing statistical analysis it's important to recognize outliers and not let those items taint a conclusion. Indy is an outlier, it may have represented a burned bridge that Josh decided was a bridge too far. Mangini crossed that bridge (though that wasn't the only torch) and it didn't work out well for him. Of course Mangini is also a bit of an outlier...

This is true about the past but give room for the possibility that Josh has done a lot of maturing since then...

I'm sure he has. But that doesn't change who he was in the past. And didn't he take the Indy job back in '18 only to quit like two days later?

It's impossible to change who anyone was in the past other than changing the perception. Your comment could be exactly why he turned down the Indy job. He saw a lot of good things and later realized all the current good things don't change the past, specifically the Colts being unethical rats during the "deflate-gate" nonsense.

You really blaming the Colts for deflate-gate? If so that's funny. You sound like Pats super-homer bigken. Back in '19 he said the Browns should have been fined because the Pats got caught illegally videotaping the Bengals in Cleveland.

Since you brought up deflate-gate the only team responsible for that is the team that got caught, the Pats.

Deflategate never happened.
"You cheated" is the last argument of a loser.

What are you talking about? I didn't bring deflate-gate up, you did.

"Deflategate never happened." :laugh3: (thanks for the great laugh)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That's some top notch denial right there. If that didn't happen why was TB12 suspended for four games for not cooperating?

This is supposed to be about Josh McD and you brought up deflate-gate, nobody else. I gotta laugh again. :laugh3:

I may sound like a homer, but are you a hater? Colts stole a ball, by many accounts the only ball which was significantly below pressure. The Colts participated in a sting, that's what rats do. As for the "Pats being caught", was that actually ever established? Between the stink of a sting, the impact of ideal gas law, the early leaking of news which was completely inaccurate, and the vague and disputed conclusion from Ken Star, there really wasn't substantive proof.

What was left became "Brady destroyed his phone, so he was hiding guilt", but the real reason he was fined was they asked for his phone and he said "No, it's a private device and you already have the text messages you want".

Never was and never have been a Pats hater. But that's what some Pats fan do. Incorrectly think anyone that questions what the organization's been busted for in the past somehow is a hater.

Like I said in another comment bigken back in '19 said the Browns should have been penalized because the Pats got caught illegally videotaping the Bengals in Cleveland. That was homerism at it's finest.

Let me explain this for what seems like about the 100th time. Have I taken shots at the Pats in the past? Hell yes I have. But only to rile up the overly homeristic faction of PatsNations. I have a weird sense of humor like that. Truth be told have never had any issues with the Pats organization.

And my shots have always been towards one player and one player only. TB12 because of where he played his college ball. Is it petty to dislike a player simply because of where he went o college? Absolutely. But I can't support any player, no matter his name, that played in ann arbor.

Why bring up what BK said in 19 to argue a point made by anyone other than BK. I thought the fine was fair, even if the issue was a mistake by someone loosely affiliated with the team and not part of the team.

For the 1,000th time, just because we respond in a discussion doesn't mean anyone here is riled or cares.

As far as I can tell we've established two things:
  1. You think persons who regularly post on their team's message board just might include homers - really some good insight right there
  2. You are petty - and we'll have to take you at your word since we don't know you

1- it was an example of how all fan bases have overly homeristic fans

** = to no surprise you don't understand what I was saying, see 1 ^^

You call me petty, which I have acknowledged. But you're a homer. Something you can't/won't acknowledge. In comment # 49 you started by saying- I may sound like a homer. Don't worry, you are.

It really is funny how overly offended some Pats fans get. Figure it's only a matter of time before you try to change the topic and mention I'm a Browns fans.

"1- it was an example of how all fan bases have overly homeristic fans ** = to no surprise you don't understand what I was saying, see 1 ^^" - Why would I understand that. You came to a team's chat site and you expect something different? Why do you need to give an example of BK being a homer? We all, including BK himself know that.

"You call me petty, which I have acknowledged." - I didn't call you petty - you called yourself it. I simply gave you credit.

Well I started by talking about Josh McDaniels and it all went downhill from there as some didn't like what I had to say. Wasn't my intention to get anything started. Usually make it clear when I do things like that.

The second part. Actually misread what you said. So my bad on that.

Did the Colts have a needle on the sideline? Is it legal to have a needle on the sideline?

Cameras on the sideline, yes.
Deflated balls, no.

Are you making the proclamation the Colts had a needle on the sideline and used that needle?
