Arbitrator reduced it to 162 games, including the post-season.

A-Wad is going to take it to federal court.

I loathe A-Fraud, and on some level, am happy he got such a big suspension.

On the other hand, MLB is corrupt and hypocritical regarding PED use, and I'd be just as happy to see Pay-Wad's legal team win in federal court.

I'm thinking the case will go nowhere or be dismissed quickly, though. Just a few days ago, A-Roid's lawyers put out a press release saying he would accept a suspension under 100 games. That tells me that they think their case is fundamentally weak.

At this point I don't think it really matters if Alex Rodriguez gets suspended or not, or the duration of the suspension. He will be turning 39 during the 2014 season, he has difficulties staying healthy, his power has diminished and he only had a .244 BA in 44 games last year.

what happens with this case is highly relevant to mlb, though.

like i said, part of me wants pay-wad to lose because he's such a turd, but another part of me wouldn't mind seeing him win a federal case just to highlight the hypocrisy about PED in mlb.

Yankees deserve it for that ridiculous deal where Texas had to still pay half of Aroids salary for years after he left and played in pinstripes. For that reason alone, let karma bitchslap them with paying out all those millions to a total roid destroyed over the hill Aroid.
