They have to win the SB next year before the dynasty talk. Lots of competition in the NFC and teams will get better and the Seahawks are going to have to get rid of some players to be able to afford to keep guys. They are already over the cap in 2014. I see them releasing Sydney Rice, Chris Clemons, and Cliff Avril. Clemons and Avirl were both dominant in their pass rush in the SB, those would be significant losses if they do release them. Earl Thomas is about to be the highest paid safety in NFL history.

Lets see how they can keep their team together once they have to pay Russell Wilson, things get much harder when you are paying a QB $20+ mil per year.

It all depends on what is meant by dynasty. If this means always being in the running for the next several years (ala the Steelers from not long ago) - sure. However - if you are talking about the Seahawks repeating as SB champs - that will be real tough - probably tougher than in the other sports.

This reminds me of the 85 Bears. That team certainly should have won more than one SB trophy. They had good records in the following three years but were ousted in the playoffs. Same thing could possibly happen with Seattle. It is just a matter of a few things happening - QB gets hurt, other teams improve & get the breaks in a playoff game, etc, etc.

Bottom line - who knows. Just enjoy this year's win! What a predictable & stupid thread topic.

To me a dynasty means only SB championships.

I say make them win 3 before we start using that term.

After Seattle's epic comeback that fell short in Atlanta (NFC South) last year in the playoffs, the NFL studio analyst i was listening to said the Hawks remind him of the Cowboys in the early 90's right before they went on to win the Super Bowl in
1992, 1993 and 1995. I had to agree with him.
