Dynasty?! Hahahaha don't make me laugh. Yes they won, yes they are a very young team that hasn't had to to pay anyone yet and they are a projected 5 million under the cap for next year. Let me know how you guys stand after you design Lynch, Wilson, Baldwin, Tate, Unger, Bennett, Thomas, Sherman...

A Seattle Seahawks Dynasty
March 15th, 2012

Seattle could well become a two-time Super Bowl winner and dynasty this decade.

Seattle must do the following to get there:

A Top five defense
A skillful punter
A winning head coach

Break down the image barrier: If the Seattle Seahawks accomplish everything listed it still may not be good enough to build an NFL dynasty this decade. The franchise must have ‘pull’ to acquire free agents. “What?” Pull, as in free agents must want to play in the Pacific Northwest.

Very tough to be in era of free agency but the Seahawks are very young and obviously very talented. 49ers may have a say........

After Seattle's epic comeback that fell short in Atlanta (NFC South) last year in the playoffs, the NFL studio analyst i was listening to said the Hawks remind him of the Cowboys in the early 90's right before they went on to win the Super Bowl in
1992, 1993 and 1995. I had to agree with him.

What say you?

Waaaay too soon to start a conversation about a Dynasty...

why not?? in russell wilson first year he went 11-5 and won a playoff game, his second year we won the SB all of our key players are young were in line to win a few more. the only real problem we have is that we are in a conference that also have young QBs or good teams

It's reasonable to be optimistic… But temper your knee-jerk reactions. Anything and everything can happen in the NFL. You are just one injury away from being "led" by Tavaris Jackson.

Not in these days, just way too much parody..plus between this year and the next year, they have to hand out 3 max contracts/extensions to Sherman,Thomas, and Wilson amongst deals for other people. Just take this advice...screw what's next, enjoy this year.

He is under rookie contract for 2014 and 2015. Then he gets paid

Yea because there is no chance he wants his money early. That's never happened. And it's not just him...there is no way you keep everybody. It is not happening

Yes he will want to be signed before his last year that is a given and the Hawks will have no choice.

Ive always regarded having a skillful punter one of the three main ingredients in creating a dynasty.

With the new league rules he can't get a new contract till after his 3rd year. So they still dont have to pay him for another year

Then 75% of Seahawks fans on here aren't "actual fans"

find me any posts by seahawks fans on here who have said the seahawks are now a dynasty, and i'll agree with you on each and every one of them up to the supposed 75% you're dribbling on about.

you're a liar, pure and simple, and i'm sure you'll try to whine and bitch your way out of it now with feckless nonsense and bromides about "not having to prove" the absurdity of your statement.

They dont need to worry about paying their qb for another year at least because of the new rookie contract rules

Yes Seattle gets one more year on the cheap but then will have to pay and at $20,000,000 or more they wont be able to afford as many of the players they have.

So if you count a dynasty 2 years then maybe it is possible but after that who knows what the Seahawks will look like
