I'll admit I'm tuned out to the team more this year than previously, but is there something I've missed with Bochy continuing to play Pence and Span consistently?

At least this lineup isn't that bad overall, youth wise.

I understand playing Gorkys. He and Span are the only CFers (Slater HAS played CF, but not enough to make him a MLB CFer). But why is Pence in there over Mac?

I kinda hope they DFA Mac instead of ice his career.

Hey, this group did build three WS winners. I'd like to think there can still be moments of brilliance. Just haven't seen much of it this year. Oh, and I count on them having to make a decision by 2019 as being in Mac's favor but he'll be a bit old by then. Which would ice his career.
