The only small positive about this lifeless, lousy game is that they didn't blow another lead. After last night's loss, they have lost 10 games this season when leading by at least 3 runs. They lost 7 games total in 2014 and 2015 when up by at least 3 runs.

This team does not deserve the pkayoffs. I would actually prefer they NOT make the post season so the FO will be more able to make changes that are needed.

Outside of that, there is only 1 outcome I want to avoid for the season.

This latest shameful embarrassment of getting swept at home by SD while being outscored 13-5 is another example of that. After the sweep, SD is still 22 games under .500, and their 5+ ERA starter looked like a Cy Young contender today (big shocker) thanks to the efforts of a hopeless, feeble-hitting lineup.
