I honestly didn't know this was a no-no until the end of the 7th inning. I must have been out of the room when they showed the line scores and I assumed the runners on had hits. After THAT time, I thought he should have been taken out because of the pitch count. This does worry me too.

My fault guys. I stayed away from here since I didn't want to jinx anything. Then with the game on in the background I was talking to my wife about something and all I said after the 2nd out was 'hey look at his pitch count, he's in there for a reason'. And then the hit happened.

She is really pissed off at me. Like go sleep on the couch mad.

That was an inspirational performance in a big game to win. Hopefully, the very high pitch count won't affect him and his command will be fine going forward. Tip of the cap to Moore for that huge effort. If something like this doesn't energize the team and get things moving in the right direction, then nothing will.
