I gotta say, seeing the Dodgers now with the guys they added, they have a very good team. And all without Kershaw, who is coming back.

I don't know where it's going to come from but we need to start winning like yesterday.

When the season started we thought LA, SF, and AZ maybe fighting for the division. AZ obviously didn't happen but here we are as expected fighting the Dogs. And losing.

On Sunday, Samardzija was (barely) outpitching Syndergaard - until he gave up the double and home run. Yesterday, Bumgarner was pitching more efficiently than Maeda until both crumbled but Bumgarner went down harder. Today, Cueto was looking much better than Hill - one walk and no hits compared to the 5 hits that Hill gave up. Now a home run. Will the streak continue?

Did you happen to hear SabeySabes on KNBR today? He went off on the slump. Basically saying there are no silver linings to this thing, and the team is playing like crap.

Refreshing to hear an exec speak clear and honestly like that.

The Giants, while not scoring, were peppering the field with base hits.

Then the dogs score and the Giants bats imediately go into hibernation.

Agreed. And really, what else is there to say? They did their job assembling this roster, it's a roster good enough to win the division. But if they play like shit, that's not Sabes' fault.

I did not. Glad to hear he is not happy with this play. But what can he do about it at this point?

I have asked this question before...

Why is this team so succeptable to these MASSIVE slumps? We had one in '14 as well, but we're obviously able to come out of it. But you can't count on doing that again.

He basically said there was nothing. He said there really aren't any trades out there to be made.

And my reply then was that it only seems like a Giants thing to slump like this when in fact it happens all the time around the league, but we don't notice as much because it's not us. Sometimes we come out of it, sometimes we don't.
