Those 3 teams fans probably said the same thing last night. Tonight’s loss sucked balls, but they’ve beat the Rockies like 16 out of 18 this year right? The good lord giveth luck and the good lord taketh away.

Oh it's still possible, I may be wrong, but there comes a point in every season where you realize it ain't happening. For the A's it was spring training. For the Yankees it was a few weeks ago. For Boston it was a week ago. And for me, with the Giants, it's now.

Again, could be wrong, but as you correctly said, they can't hit so they can't win.

Oh it's still possible, I may be wrong, but there comes a point in every season where you realize it ain't happening. For the A's it was spring training. For the Yankees it was a few weeks ago. For Boston it was a week ago. And for me, with the Giants, it's now.

Again, could be wrong, but as you correctly said, they can't hit so they can't win.

It's been way more nuanced than that though. I predicted 85 wins and the 3rd wild card I wasn't "Mr Positivity". After the all star break for lots of reasons their hitting became historically bad. Just the story of this year. They CAN make me eat crow but will they? Honestly? 15 games to play, half Dodgers.

Now that I look, I can maybe keep hoping until the Arizona series. Gotta win these at least 2 of the 3 remaining in Denver, and take 3 of 4 from AZ. Short of that they just won't be able to pass 3 others including the team (AZ) they just couldn't handle.

You may be right, just seems to me you’re overly harsh on the quitters and then seemingly waving the white flag with a long way to go. Just seems like a you do it for the right reasons type of thing, but I’ve been very wrong before for sure. Cheers

I'm the right level of harsh on mostly tzill, who is a lunatic in a lot of contexts here. I'm not waving a white flag. A fan is allowed to turn pessimistic. Doesn't mean I don't hope they surprise me.

This one hit me right in the gut, the ace getting no run support in freaking Denver vs these bums, then my guy blows the save. Can't ignore it. 15 more to go they all really matter now.
