Marlon Byrd's 2-run homer was the difference. Worth 1 WAR already (is that how it works :D)

Oh and Mike Fiers of the Astros has a no hitter in the 8th against the Dodgers.

3 walks and 118 pitches, though.

Generous strike there, but I will take it!

120 pitches through 8 with a 3 run cushion...

It's like Tim Lincecum's no-no. Fiers isn't a kid, but he's not old. I'm sure they'll run him out there, but they better have their closer ready.

Three completely different, equally difficult plays and Duffman made them all look easy. He has really figured out 3B hasn't he? After rarely playing there in his life.
My wife was talking to me that inning and I had to stop listening on each play. They were awesome!

That really impressed me. One to his right, one to his left, a line drive he had to leap for. And the play he made last night coming over from the 5.5 hole and make a jump throw. He's looking good.

1.5 back!

And historically (it seems) pitchers don't very well following long no-nos, so it may work extra good for us as the Astros will be "a pitcher short" for a while as well.

I love seeing the dogs humiliated!

Do we play the Stros again?
