whenever you draft with a group for a long time you get this weird group think affect... Would love to see some weird ones you have with drafting with that group...

And I am sure, you will overvalue or undervalue many players around us because of it...
we've drafted just about everything there is to draft so feel free to call one out and I'll see if I can find it lol. I keep everything in google Sheets so its easy to find.

Agree on the group think thing I see it a bit. Also you see the same GMS taking the same guys over and over - we all have our faves I guess but it can get boring. Try to challenge myself to take different guys and stay away from my faves some drafts

Agreed

I think he started because of McGwire and Sosa to make a point. I think he made it lol

Absolutely agree!

Think about 120 intentional walks in a season, that is just insane, as great as Trout is, in 2018 he had the most IBB in a season of his career to date with 25

We tweak a few of our drafts. Right now we're doing era drafts for baseball. Last year we did a draft based upon NFL draft years where you had to pick 1 player from 31 NFL draft years. In a few weeks we're going to be doing a college basketball draft so we have fun drafts.

Oh and Babe Ruth not only debuted in 1914 and batted left but he also did a mean two step.

He has more intentional walks than the next two players all time together.

My boy Miggy should crack top five

We have a group of friends that do a fantasy tournament draft every year. Those are fun.

Grayson cost me a title last year as I had Bagley and their point guard whose name escapes me at the moment.

Was that a points only tourney?

Points boards assists to keep it simple. One point for everything
Nice. I've been in a points only one last few years those are gun. We run an NCAA tournament brackets PayPal pool for $20 a piece if anyone is interested. We usually have about a grand in the pot and pay top 3.

The college basketball draft that Ducey was referencing was really fun last year and we are running it back this year. We split the country up into 4 regions like the tourney does and drafted 4 all-time 9-player teams (simultaneously) from colleges located in each region then ran a bracket tournament for each region.

What I would like to do is a daily draft for this upcoming baseball season.

You pick one player everyday and the only stats we use are the triple crown stats.

I would have a thread dedicated to keeping everyone updated on their season stats.

The winning category would be HR's but I like to include AVG and RBI as well.

Anyone interested in something like this?

Hmm interesting. So whoever has the best stats overall wins?

How would ranking go at the end?
Rankings AVG HR RBI by a 1-10 ranking for each then take the highest combination of the 3?

Yeah I don't disagree with anyone - love both players - Willie for me the best all around player ever. Hall just got Mantle this morning with the 18th pick in the other draft we are running lol - ridic steal

I guess. Like I mentioned it's an era draft so some older players going a little earlier than usual. And most teams were grabbing their #1 SP. That said prob 4 or 5 picks that had no business going before him in any format.
