Yeah I don't disagree with anyone - love both players - Willie for me the best all around player ever. Hall just got Mantle this morning with the 18th pick in the other draft we are running lol - ridic steal

Same crew as usual except for one that hasn't done a baseball draft with us yet. It's 3 era draft so some older players going a few spots sooner than they usually would but a few selections that had no business going before Mickey regardless. He usually goes somewhere between 6-9 in our drafts. Trust me I wasn't happy that he got back to Hall...I had the next pick afterYou are you drafting with lol. 18th is stupid and those guys should be ashamed
Sup Barry. Nice head
he was a beast for sure. I prefer Mays but its the reason I'd rather draft out of the 4-7 spot in a baseball draft then the top 3. I'd rather have the earlier pick in round 2 and Mantle then the later pick and MaysHis numbers wouldn't be as inflated but still look at pre-steroid...he was still a beast. The only out-of-the-ordinary season really was that 73 homerun season. His obp was going to crazy levels but it's bc of all those IBB's, BB's. As all-around players it's definitely a nice topic between Mantle, Bonds and Mays.
I think you gotta put Oh Henry in there too, for being as great as he was I still feel he's underrated.

I'm sure we would do the same if we drafted with them.
Barry was my favorite player in the game before the juice but I don't think the point is only the 73 season was out of the norm which in my opinion it's not the only out of the norm season, it's that he wouldn't hold the single season or all time record without said juice.

Every single player I've ever drafted is the GOAT. Don't @ me.
