I do t see how he got hurt, though. Everything looked routine (outside of the drop, of course).

Guys Bruce is plenty fun with the HRs, but he's a crap fielder and low OBP guy. Careful what you wish for.

First thought was he rolled on his wrist, then his elbow (he had Tommy John surgery once), but it looks like his shoulder.

Yea, my thought was wrist as well, but the play looked uneventful. I thought maybe hammy or groin pull, but there didn't look to be any pressure on his legs as he sprawled. Gretioner (sp?) was massaging his shoulder, but I didn't see anything happen there either.

I have it on good authority that the hitting is not our problem, apparently there's a link in the chain that's weaker than the others, and it's the pitching.

I do not approve this editorial misrepresentation.

I'm more okay with that AB from Nunez, because it at least could have been a productive out.

Lopez has pitched really well this month. Yesterday's walk was his only walk of the month! In 11 appearances, he's posted a 0.800 WHIP with a 0.00 ERA to lower his season stats to 1.47 and 3.93. That's much better than what he looked like at the end of June.
