good morning
Yankees wouldnt give up aaron judge for him
dumbYankees wouldnt give up aaron judge for him
dumb
the only thing judge has in common with stanton is theyre tall.
and thats why the yankees held onto him...because a few bad scouts called him "giancarlo stanton all over again".
stanton had like 150 minor league homeruns before he was 20Lmao
A few "bad scouts"
Rocks the real scout here
stanton had like 150 minor league homeruns before he was 20
judge is 23 and never had more than 17...stanton?
he hit 40 one year...at 18.
that was downI'll trust the professionals
Not the guy that told me Will Middlebrooks was the next Mike Scmidt
i didnt want cole anyway. not a good fit here, and he wasnt thrilled about going to the east coast...which is why i think he ended up in texas. short flight home.Sox could have had Hamels for Henry Owens not long ago
Now they'd be lucky to get a large pepperoni for him

Red Sox manager John Farrell acknowledged Wednesday that Pablo Sandoval's weight is an issue.
Only the Mets
Only the Mets could have a kid crying out in the field because he is moving from NYC to Milwaukee
And he doesn't even get traded
No one else
Yeah this doesn't fall on the Mets at all for me.This whole story is so fucking bizarre. Fucking twitter, I hope it dies. The kid didn't need to go through that shit show.

gomez has a bad hip. bad hips and 30 dont mix.Clearly, the Mets were TRYING to get Carlos Gomez, I don't doubt that for a second. But somebody jumped the gun and then everyone else ran with it, including the Mets' radio and TV announcers. Flores, god bless him, he really loves being a part of this team. I hope he stays. He has done everything the club has ever asked of him. Fuck that Tom Hanks bullshit chick-flick quote.
I heard the rumor that it was either because of Wheeler's arm, or Gomez's hip, that nixed the deal. No clue which one of those is possibly the reason, or if there ever was a deal that Wheeler was a part of.
Of course, Scott Boras is going to protect his client by saying he's 100% healthy, but logically, why would it have been Wheeler's health that scotched this deal at the last minute? He's already on the DL after a pretty serious TJ surgery and may not even pitch for another 12-18 months. You're going to tell me the Brewers looked at his medical chart and went, "oh no! This guy's too risky!"?? Wouldn't they have already known that?
