6th Keeper, PPR

I’m scraping what ifs and maybes for my final keeper.
Looks like it’s down to Odell Beckham vs Jameson Williams

Leaning Odell, but only because of a suspension… chances are Odell misses six games too, at some point.

Should I return back to my original plan and keep the youngster?

(Yes, trades are allowed and I’m exploring moving a pick or two for a steadier option… I don’t have a 1st—traded it for Najee at last season’s deadline—but have three 2nds).

Williams suspended for 6 and really hasn't shown much of his talent lately. But Odell has not shown much of late either. Explore the trade. You can probably get either of these guys back in the draft.

Agree with Fuzzies.
Only Williams shows up in FantasyPros ECR rankings.
I do like Williams, but with him missing 6 games and sitting behind Amon Ra, any depth adjustment wont be happening until late in the season (if at all).

I traded Herbert last season and went the distance with Carr.
Funny you mention it though… that same guy just asked me about Herbert or Fields… after offering Mike Williams for one of my 2nds.

I do have Kmet, which I guess, is just as good to keep 6th, but something about this league just eats up WR like crazy.

Id explore your options. Qb or wr. Kmet really isnt worth it imo.

I would not waste a spot on Kmet, just draft him again if you want him, he'll be available.

Feel similarly about the QBs you mentioned. Fields/Herbert for what amounts to an 8th rd pick doesn't seem like bad value but think I'd go WR route.

If you can upgrade over Odell/Jamo for a better WR, that's where I'd spend my efforts the next couple weeks.

Think I'd go Odell but wouldn't be confident in either one of those guys at the current moment

I agree with everything that has been said. If I had to choose between the two, I think I lean Beckham. The new OC in Baltimore is going to try to run a more balanced offense and Odell could catch some balls. Williams is all potential and is guaranteed to sit 6 games.

i guess i am in the minority... i got Williams, and it aint even close...

odell is not going to be the WR1 and he is on a run first offense, where the QB likes to run a lot too... i would say 5 catches is his absolute ceiling...

Williams, will be the #2 receiver/TE when he comes back.... even if he is not, he will be higher in the depth chart for the lions than odell will be for the ravens... and Odell is a major injury risk as he is no longer a young player, and he has struggled in recent seasons...

and with 6 keepers, we are looking at who to keep NEXT year too... Williams has the ceiling to not be the LAST keeper on a team!!!

This is just the guys I snapped here from ADP. But the highlighted are the only guys I WOULDNT want to take over williams as the 6th keeper. unless ur play is for next year.

Shockingly, I agree with Milk with it being Williams without question.

I'd give the 10-11 games that Williams plays will blow away anything OBJ MIGHT do with Lamar in 17. I don't buy them passing more, and even if they do, I don't buy Lamar's ability to actually produce much with that increase. And that without wondering about where OBJ fits in the target distribution--which is far behind Andrews at best, and him likely coming up lame with something at some point. Dude's already talking about retiring next year. SO at least Williams might actually still be a consideration again next year

Williams is one of my keepers this year for an 11th.

I expect him to be one of my keepers for another 2 years after 23

Williams floor is much higher too.

Waiting 6 weeks for a guy sucks, but seems worth it with the flex spot. Draft an extra RB early, use him at flex, and then Jameson slides in at the same time injuries/byes start happening. Lions will sling it.

Trading for mike Williams sounds like a good play too. You could always grab Jameson back in the draft because he'll slide.
