6 times on base in a 9 inning game for Late Night Lamont...gotta be a Giants record, maybe tied?

He's the best leadoff hitter we've had since who...Ray Durham? Did Torres bat leadoff?

Starting to enjoy this team even though at .500, trending up

By the way I think the official scoring when you give up only 4 runs in a win in Colorado is a "Denver shutout"

Brebbia was awful, but the rest of the staff was pretty decent. Manaea was left in a couple batters too long.

10-4 and not a single dinger in Denver.

Weird game.

Didn't watch the game but it looks like Manaea gave up the 4 runs...?

And I'll never get used to the "opener" tactic... I mean that looks like what was going on... right?

tzill, I really am a bit perplexed at your dislike of Brebbia. Sure, he's human but his numbers are pretty good. Weren't you excited about his pickup when the Giants took a gamble on him after TJ surgery and the Cards let him go? Have you compared this season to his last season with the Cardinals? They look awfully similar, except his K rate is higher with the Giants (and thus, his K to BB ratio as well).

Yeah, but if you watched you'd have seen how terrible Brebbia was and that Manaea was pretty good for 4 innings and then was left in too long.

I understand having an irrational hatred or love for a particular player. But your disdain for Brebbia doesn’t appear to be based on anything at all.

I have an irrational dislike for Pedo. I acknowledge it. But I can pinpoint WHY I dislike him so much. It may not be appropriately proportionate, but I understand where it comes from. Can you say the same about your dislike for Brebbia?

I think it started when he was one of three gingers with beards who all sucked. IIRC, the other two were Leone and Shittell.

Again, not necessarily rational but he makes me poop my diapers.

Sean Manaea's line may not show it (4.2 IP, 4 ER), but he did a nice job for the Giants last night. His control is improving. Plus, the Giants saved Tristan Beck/Jakob Junis, who they might need later in this series.
