Kudos to Wood and Kapler. Wood hasn't had a good outing (not a horrible outing but not good either) and Kapler continues to send him out to eat innings. He has gotten better as the game has progressed.

The starters' market is supposed to be deep this offseason. However, starting pitching free agents can be a dicey proposition. Then again, pitchers in general are dicey propositions.

Funny but that seems too transparent based on the complaints Wood, Manaea and Stripling have had about their roles.
