Well, they only scored 2 runs. That easily could have been much more.

Or if the Giants were batting no runs.

Game over.

Giants will now be 2-9 in their last 11 series' openers. I met, how hard is it to get a team up for playing the opening game of a series, you know, get off on the right foot, get up one game in the series, etc.

This is not '62 Mets playing, but it sure as Hades feels like it.

Nice! Where is old Nick, we need to give him a call. Like next inning.

We could use someone to pitch for Zito on the road, every 5th day with Gaudin hurt, and pretty much everytime the bullpen takes the ball. Sounds like a regular day off for Nick.

Dodgers finally came to their senses and put Jansen in at closer. They honestly blew a few wins by not having him there.

This is just getting sad and you saw last week at AT&T the fans are starting to have enough of it, leaving early. Pitching has finally turned it around and what do ours bats do. Get a runner on by a walk then first pitch double play, and that is even if we can get on base. I don't know what the heck is going through the minds of our hitters right now, but you can't blame the fans for choosing not to give out major bucks to watch an offense that can't score 2 runs against some of the worst teams in baseball. I don't know if this team is in hangover mode from last season or what, but there is not much else you can say right now. As pathetic as pathetic gets and how does Bochy feel about it "I feel like we aren't being aggressive enough". Yes we have been spoiled but now that same manager, lineup and team are beating us over the head and gouging our eyes out

Alright my rant is over. We have been slumping for months now, and it is turning a little more into reality than a very long slump. The lineup can't use the injury excuse for much longer. Yes they are missing Pagan but we still have Scutaro, Pablo, Posey, Pence. Crawford has gone ice cold, and we have platoon guys covering CF and LF (although Blanco has been swinging a hot bat. Not as angry with the bullpen, the major issues in the rotation early in the season just wore down their arms and now we are facing the consequences. Certainly won't be like this for our bullpen all season, but they certainly are cheering for the All-Star break to arrive. Hopefully our rotation can keep things going, and maybe they will get a little more run support. If not keep the farm system together, and just wait out the year. Not worth losing the farm over if there will be an issue with the rotation or lineup or bullpen all season. Maybe add a reliever or 4th/5th starter but not worth losing top specs

When you sign a guy for that money, he may have had "orders" to do so, don't you think?

Yeah, but all Dodgers contracts are huge at this point.
