'10 Cain vs '16 Cueto - edge Cueto
'10 Durty vs '16 Sammy - edge Sammy
'10 Bum vs '16 PV - (dare I say) edge PV???
'10 Zito vs '16 Cain - edge Zito

This group stands up and maybe even surpasses.

Interesting debate. I looked at ERA+ for 2010 and 2016

2010:
1. Bum 131
2. Sanchy 127
3. Cain 124
4. Timmah 114
5. Zito 94
6. Wellemeyer 69

2016:
1. Bum 206
2. JC 187
3. Shark 126
4. Suarez 108
5. Cain 74
6. PV 68

Top of the rotation, 2016 >> 2010. Only clear advantage for 2010 is Zito > Cain.

Seasonal stats are something that can be compared at the end if the season. Right now, PV is tossing like a boss. And he is traditionally a 2nd half pitcher.

But when the playoffs came around, I remember having confidence in all 4 of our "Aces". If we were going into the playoffs right now, I would have faith in our top 3, and have reserved confidence in PV.

Regardless, I would put our top 3 against any 3 in the game.

Yep, they have nothing to hang their heads about. Great season and great playoffs. Frankly I like the kind of basketball they play. Lots of cutting and passing. Watching LBJ constantly drive to the hoop doesn't do it for me. I didn't get to see most of this last game. Did they get away from that, or did Cavs stop them from doing it? +/- on the starting lineups is very telling: Dubs all - and Cavs all +.
