lol....the Cavs were one of the best teams in the NBA offensively this season despite all the turnover and injuries.and how's that been different from the reg season?
You're right and Isiah Thomas was and still is criticized about that comment he made about Larry Bird. By the way who is "zeke"?In the early 80's didn't Zeke firmly stick his foot in his mouth by saying if Bird was black he would have just been another basketball player? Pretty sure he either said that or something close.
You think so even if the game is close?
Now if they lose game 2, panic button will be pushed.
If that happens then Lebron may have played his last home game in Cleveland
Agreed. I think it would be especially scary because this is only the first round.Yep you never know. Pacers are 4-1 against them. Winning game 2 to push them to 5-1 vs Cleveland this year with 2 games upcoming in Indy is very scary
Fair enough, so you "are pretty sure that the Celtics walked off the court" before the final buzzer in 1988. I don't remember that.
IMO, it's always a big deal, when a player walks off the court before the final horn.Good lord. All of you are still on this whole Lebron schtick? I like to bag on him just as much as anyone, but jesus. First off, most playoff game 1's don't involve players meeting up right afterwards shaking hands. They usually immediately go back to the locker room. Again, I dislike Lebron quite a lot, but it's really not that much of a big deal.
lol....the Cavs were one of the best teams in the NBA offensively this season despite all the turnover and injuries.
Calderon shot over 40% from 3 this year and was 0-3 yesterday
Clarkson shot 40% from 3 with the Cavs and was 0-3 yesterday
Korver shot well over 40% from 3 and was 0-2 yesterday
LeBron shot almost 37% from 3 during the year and was 0-4 from 3 yesterday
Hood and Hill each shot about 35% from 3 during the year and were a combined 2/7 from 3 yesterday
Something tells me those numbers will not hold up for the entire series--- and that the Cavs shooting will average out.

The Cavs were 5th in offensive rating during the regular season for a reason.
I don't know for sure, but sounds like something he would've said. All I know is outside of the bad boy pistons none of the other stars wanted to play with him in the Olympics - especially MJ.
Fair enough. Thanks for the info.Okay you wanna be picky about things, how's this? From pistonpowered.com: Celtics walked out on the Pistons before Detroit ever walked out on the Bulls
**people forget or never knew that the Celtics walked out on the Pistons in the 1988 Eastern Conference finals
**many of McHale's teammates were already in the locker rooms, leaving Adrian Dantley standing @ the FT line w/ about a minute left
** = found the info in about 15 seconds after typing in: did the Celtics ever walk off the court on the Pistons.
So I'm pretty damn sure the Celtics walked off the court against the Pistons. Is that better?
IMO, it's always a big deal, when a player walks off the court before the final horn.
Thanks for the info, I think Isiah's son is also called Zeke.Zeke was Isiah's nickname.
Fair enough, you're right it's a matter of opinion. It's a matter of opinion. Now, if the Cavs just got swept and he walked off the court without shaking hands (ala Pistons in '91), then Lebron's a cry baby little bitch. But I'm not going to get outraged about this.
Actually, if I remember correctly Rodman made the comment first and Thomas jumped in on it. Rodman of course was not the face of the team and Thomas was blamed for the comment. The press conference they called afterwards was excruciating to watch.zeke was Isaiah's nick name.
